It's time for Common Sense Government!
Lets make this election about the people!
It's time to elect people who know how to separate wants from needs!
As many of you are aware, after careful consideration and deep concern for the future of our state, I have decided to seek the office of State Representative for 137th District. I am hopeful that I can bring some common sense ideas straight from the people to the House of Representatives in Hartford.
Having been actively involved in creating change in my community, through troop support efforts, city agencies and now as a 2nd term member of the Norwalk Common Council, I believe there are workable solutions to bring balance and fiscal responsibility to our state government. I believe now more than ever, our first priority is to reign in spending in Hartford, and take a stand against tax increases.
But, it will take more than halting the state from mortgaging our children’s future to turn our economy around. It’s time that the state of Connecticut stop taking from us and start working for us. A good start would be to promote and encourage business growth throughout the state.
As you can see, I am excited at the possibility of serving the people of the 137th District. To be successful in this endeavor it will take a very strong and dedicated grass roots organization. I am hopeful that the voters of this district will step forward along with my family and friends in a united volunteer effort.
Now, I am turning to the people who have known me the longest, who know me best, and respectfully ask you to get involved in my campaign and help make a difference.
Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul puts
the good State of Connecticut in a future bind!
Is this how we want to continue?
Less is More!
Less government
Less taxes
Less unemployment
More jobs
More fiscal responsibility
More accountability
Restructuring our State spending should be
the number "1" priority to all elected officials
For over three decades
Connecticut has been
run by unbalanced government
Its important to understand that as a State Representative you don't just represent
Norwalk you represent the entire state to have balanced government and control spending so we don't mortgage our children and grandkids futures before they even get started.
We need to bring back the blue collar jobs.
Like our ancestor's, blue collar workers are the foundation that made this state and country vibrant.
We can't expect to erace the unemployment figures in Connecticut until we as a state become worker friendly by bringing back the businesses that our families, friends and neighbors were trained to do. We can't fix a broken system by throwing money at it.
We can't balance a budget by borrowing into the future.
We can't teach our children right from wrong if our leaders in Hartford don't know the difference.
We can reign in government spending.
We can take a stand against tax increases.
We can tell our leaders in Hartford that we're mad as hell and we won't take it anymore.
Our state needs to be run like we have learned to run our homes in these economic times.
We've learned to tighten our belts and we've learned to prioritize.
We have our wants and we have our needs.
In every home across Connecticut, the needs outweigh the wants and this is how we need to run our state.
Connecticut needs to really look at State spending and pensions in order to understand why we are where we are. As private sector employees, we would all like to be able to retire on fully funded pensions after less than 20 years service to any given company. This is not reality.
Make your voice heard on election day.
